Unique, one-off Ferraris don’t come about all that often, but one lucky Dubai collector is following closely in Eric Clapton’s footsteps.  Cheerag Arya, a businessman based in Dubai, has commissioned Ferrari to build a unique model for himself, one that mixes nuances across Ferrari’s rich model history and that is based on the hot 599 GTO (a car he already owns).  Interestingly enough, we recently posted a poll on our Facebook listing the 3 most recent custom Ferrari models: Junichiro Hiramatsu’s SP1, Edward Walson’s P450 Superfast Aptera, and Eric Clapton’s SP12 EC.  There was no clear winner.  And while Mr. Arya plans to keep this as a private possession we’re sure we’ll be getting you some beauty shots as soon as it leaves Ferrari and heads to the desert.
