Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale Debuts at Sao Paolo Auto Show
While supercars ultimately don’t discriminate where they are found across the globe, we find them concentrated in particular regions and countries. Whether it be the U.S., United Arab Emirates, Europe, and now China, we know the first places to look for the world’s most exclusive supercars. Well, South America’s influence among supercar hungry nations has quickly increased, and there is perhaps no better way to mark this then with the debut of a special edition Bugatti Veyron, the Grand Sport Vitesse Rafale. To add even more legitimacy to that last statement, an eager South American buyer has already snapped up the exlcusive car. First and foremost, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse is the world’s fastest convertible. The Rafale adds beautiful light “Gris Rafale” paint accented with blue carbon fiber. The light and elegant color scheme continues inside with lake blue upholstery, grey stitching, carbon fiber and stainless metals. Under hood is the Vitesse’s 8.0-liter W-16 rated at 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque (0-60: 2.6s, 255 mph top speed). A “regular” Vitesse runs about $2.2 million, with this special Rafale running about $2.47 million.
