The highly anticipated Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has shown itself!  As one might imagine, this is not just your normal Aventador coupe with the roof cut off.  Well, sort of.  Mechanically it is the same car packing a 700-horsepower 6.5 liter V12 mated to an automatic transmission.  Interestingly enough, Lambo is not skimping Roadster customers of any performance seeing as how the topless Aventador is good for the same performance stats of a 3-second launch to 60 and a 217 mph top speed.  Can you imagine going 217 mpg with the top off?  The changes come stylistically and structurally with a more aggressive rear deck lid and reinforced B-pillars.  The roadster-forming removable top is made up of two carbon fiber pieces that weigh only 26 pounds combined and that store easily and securely up front in the trunk.  Like the coupe, the Aventador Roadster is a stunning car that is a symmetrical masterpiece from all angles; a feat that Lamborghini is excellent at achieving.
