All Jaguars to offer all-wheel drive option in the future

Posted December 3, 2012 By Sia & filed under Uncategorized

Jaguar has gone through a funny recent history, especially in regards to its position in the luxury and sports car markets.  The early millenium wasn't so lucky, but nowadays we see a Jag that is ready to take on its European and Japanese rivals head on with top-notch power, luxury, and a widened offering.  All-wheel drive has found itself in the lineups of several luxury brands, particularly Audi, but Jaguar has always been lacking in this front.  Interestingly enough, Jags up until now were literally not constructed to accommodate such a powertrain.  Today's AWD XF & XJ will be accompanied by a lineup that is fully accommodating to AWD, says Jaguar global brand director Adrian Hallmark.  This is just find and great for those in conditions that could benefit from a less slippery powertrain, but do YOU think is the future of AWD in future luxur, sports and exotic cars?  Will it continue to be a casual option, or perhaps a standard feat?  Shoot us a Tweet or Post with your thoughts & let's chat cars!
