The time has come for the last of the beloved Lexus LF-A, a white Nurburgring edition to be exact. While we’ve had plenty of time with the LF-A, it still seems oh so soon, a feeling compounded by the facts of a limited production run and lack of a successor. The once mundane, soft brand that was Lexus was injected with a shot of adrenaline upon the release of the LF-A in 2010, a move that not only added some excitement to the Lexus brand, but one that also moved it even more upscale (especially considering the $375k price tag). Though a successor is not planned after the 2-year, 500 unit production run, Lexus is able to take away many thing from the LFA, most notably its carbon fiber technology and processes that started with the LFA. This screaming, v10 Japanese powerhouse will be a Japanese supercar staple for a long time, and we’re looking forward to see what Lexus may have up its sleeve in the future.
