Aston Martin plans 100th Anniversary celebrations in 2013
It's been an entire century since the famed Aston Martin started up its engines and boy what a feat. Anytime a brand or organization reaches its 100th anniversary, there is much cause to celebrate and pay your respects. When that company is Aston Martin, this idea could not be more true. For Aston Martin it has been a century packed full of some of the most advanced, powerful, and stylish automobiles in history. So, without further ado, let's take a look at how AM will celebrate its age. First and foremost, a special centenary logo has been created and of course is aimed at commemorating the past, as well as looking to the future. Beginning on January 15th, a plaque will be presented at AM's original headquarters at Chelsea's Henniker Mews in London, England accompanied by the third car Aston Martin ever produced, the “A3” prototype. As Summer comes around, processions continue at their current headquarters in Gaydon, including the largest gathering of Aston Martins in the automaker's history. A James Bond-inspired drive through England is also in order and we're looking forward to a driving event in the works at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance.
