If you've heard the term “big budget film,” well here is your shining example.  First off, if you didn't know about the new Die Hard, well, now you know!  It looks like the film will be taking on lots of action, including an $11 million car chase.  Report has it that 132 cars were destroyed in a single chase scene, along with 518 that required significant work.  You may be thinking, alright well if it was a bunch of early millennium Chevy Impalas, who cares?  Well, they weren't.  The Director, John Moore, notes “With Die Hard it's about how audacious the action is…So you have to drive over a Lamborghini.  An actual one. And yes it hurts me. I'm a car fanatic.”  Believe it or not, that high price for destruction didn't even include a fleet of Mercedes G-wagons since they were donated by the brand.  Though it may make us auto enthusiasts cringe, it sounds like this will be one hell of a car chase.
