Another supercar that was tracked particularly closely prior to its reveal was the 5th generation Porsche 911 GT3. For this car, rather than anticipating a dramatic new design scheme, it is the details that us enthusiasts were hungry for. With that being said, aesthetically the 2014 GT3 is essentially the beautiful 991 all done up in our favorite GT3 accoutrements, most notably the rear wing. Mechanically, the GT3 gets a new 3.8L flat-six engine from the 911 Carrera S, which is thoroughly upgraded to produce 475 horsepower. Power is sent to an updated version of Porsche's PDK dual-clutch transmission that has the ability to put the car in neutral by holding both paddles; nope, no manual! All of this is good for a 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 195mph. Expect the GT3 in the U.S. later this year at a starting price of $131,350.
