The 2014 Mercedes S-Class hits the scene fully undisguised!
We’ve been through this routine countless times now. Super sneaky spy images surface of a highly-anticipated car and before you know it, it is prematurely revealed online. In this round we’re focused on the exciting new Mercedes S-Class generation. We recently reported on the sighting of what is to replace the demise of Maybach, the return of the S600 Pullman. Now, we’ve got lots of great photos (only the interior shots are official as of now) of the industry’s foremost full-size luxury sedan. In terms of styling, the new S-Class evolves very nicely, adding slightly more sculpted accent lines (following design language of CLS & others), new headlamps, exotic new vertically-oriented tail-lamps, and more. Inside the Merc gets even more indulgent and luxurious. Overall it gets a bit more convoluted than its previous simple-is-better design scheme, but in a very, very good way. Exotic leather perforation throughout the cabin, unconventional placement, more wood, a 2-spoke steering wheel, and 2 large screens are just the beginning of the goodies on the inside of this new Merc. Notorious as an introductory platform for brand new auto technology, the S-Class stays true to its expectations, including goodies like massaging seats, advanced infotainment system, safety features up the ying-yang, perfume atomizer, and much, much, much more. Stay tuned for more updates!
