2014 Jaguar XKR-S GT takes fiercest feline further
Over the past several years we’ve seen Jaguar gradually unleash the beast that we’ve always known it had in the form of expanded application of its high-performance R-line. Now, though, Jag is taking it to the next level, even past its ferocious XKR-S, with the XKR-S GT. Yeah, baby. Aesthetically the new cat is taken to racier new heights than its closest internal competitor, the XKR-S. The most notable new aesthetic features include a large rear spoiler, additional hood louvres, a gaping, blacked out grille, razoe sharp teeth in the form of re-designed dive planes, and a set of beautiful, Shelby Mustange-esque rims. Inside you’ll find the same 550 horsepower, 502 lb-ft from the XKR-S but with a laundry list of other tuning adjustments. Tuned items include upgraded front and rear suspension geometry, larger carbon ceramic brakes all around, wider 20-inch forged alloy wheels, a revised active exhaust system, and a faster steering rack has been added for improved agility. This ferocious feline will soon be revealed at the N.Y. Auto Show so stay tuned for more updates from us!
