Are we surprised?  Well, let’s not get greedy here (hard not to with all the exciting new hypercars now officially on the scene).  Previous reports noted that the car would likely run with about 800 horsepower, but a new report notes that a rating closer to 900 (~875) will be realized from its 4.6-liter V8 w/ two electric motors (this is speculation!).  The juicy new gossip doesn’t end there.  A pre-order customer who was invited to see the first production version of the car at Porsche’s testing facility in Weissach, Germany writes that the car looks a bit different from the developed concepts we’ve seen, with no further details.  In addition, this customer notes that the 918 will be able to lap the ‘Ring in less than seven minutes!  Expect the same price range as previously reported, starting at $845k, with the ability to break seven digits.
