Dubai police gets Lamborghini Aventador patrol car
There truly is no shame in the UAE’s automotive game. We know the region, particularly the UAE and its states (i.e. Abu Dhabi, Dubai), are enthused by exotic and superluxury cars, and now we see this fervor reaches well into its public services departments. Recently the Dubai police department purchased a Lamborghini Aventador as its showcase patrol car to excite and intrigue tourists. Dubai’s Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina noted in an interview that “The aim is to reflect the reputation of the emirate and the high stature it achieved. It will also help promote tourism and showcase the security role the Dubai police plays in safeguarding the city.” It doesn’t end there! Dubai recently took delivery of a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS and Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Al Tamin, the Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai police, confirmed that a Ferrari will also be joining the fleet very soon.
