Formula E electric car race adds Los Angeles venue
Being based in the automotive mecca that is California, Club Sportiva is always proud when its region is put on the automotive map. The Formula E electric car race has recently added Los Angeles to its roster of 10 worldwide cities to hold the race, the other being Miami, London, Rome, Beijing, Putrajaya, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janiero (there are 2 more cities that are yet to be announced). The race will start up in L.A. next year and 10 announced teams will be provided an initial 42 cars from Spark Racing Technology, though Formula E will release specifications for independent builders to enter their own cars soon enough. Races will be in city streets (TBD), last about an hour, and expect these silent racers to hit about 140 mph.
