The creme de la creme of the Mercedes lineup, and the full-size luxury sedan sector for that matter, has entered a new generation and has leaked a bit before its unveiling at a private event in Germany.  Though some details are still missing, there is quite a bit of substantial information already known about this teutonic luxury sedan, so let’s take a look.  Firstly, the car will come in 3 variants including entry-level (September), 4Matic (October), and the s63 AMG 4Matic (November).  We can also expect a new S-class coupe (CL replacement), a 600 Pullman-esque variant to replace Maybach, and even a convertible variant that will likely act as benz’s halo car, packed with uber luxury and the best tech Mercedes can offer.  Some of the S-Class tech includes a View Assist PLUS system, “Magic Body Control,” and “Air Balance” system inside.   It’s new nine-speed sequential automatic, called the 9G-Tronic, will be more efficient and ultimately better in all ways than its outgoing 7-speed predecessor.  Special new colors and interior trim will be the cherry on top, and expect all this luxurious goodness in the Fall.  More details likely to come later this month, stay tuned!
