BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe unveiled at Villa d’Este
For the first time ever legendary design house Pininfarina has teamed up with BMW for a new concept that was recently debuted at the Villa d'Este Conours, a show that BMW has revealed a new concept at every year since 2008. Dubbed the Gran Lusso coupe, the car is a large coupe with muscular features and subtle but beautiful cues that are uniquely Pininfarina. The wide proportions and gently upsloping accent lines make for a tasteful luxurious appearance. Got to love the massive rendition on BMW's classic grille, too. Inside, the cabin is fairly similar to the 7-series, though includes 48,000 year old New Zealand-sourced kauri wood. Expect a V12 underhood and a high likelihood of no production run. Don't lose hope, though, this is an aweful nice precursor to a 7-series coupe aimed directly at the Mercedes CL.
