Just when you thought Aston Martin was doing away with hotrod frankenstein, the V12 Vantage, well it wasn't truly taking it away but making it even better. The V12 Vantage was a power-junky's dream in that it crammed Aston Martin's most powerful engine into its smallest car. The same strategy holds, except Aston Martin's most powerful engine, the 565 horsepower V12 from the new Vanquish, has gotten more powerful, hence the new V12 Vantage S. With the noted 565 horsepower, the new V12 Vantage S has a whole 55 more horsies than the outgoing model, and is good for 205 mph. Add in AM's sequential seven-speed Sportshift III (no manual available anymore), stage active damping, new steering, and a new exhaust, and you just about round our the new V12 monster. Lighter, substantially more powerful, and still damn sexy, we're excited to see AM's new hotrod take to the streets – stay tuned!
