2015 Spyker B6 Venator Spyder – The Roof Comes Off at Pebble Beach
The more and more we hear about reveals and unveilings at Pebble Beach, the more we get excited. Why? Well, Club Sportiva is going to be there, so we’ll welcome exotic reveals with open arms and open Lamborghini doors. The latest addition to Pebble Beach’s reveals is from Spyker, the boutique Dutch automaker who announced at this year’s Geneva show that it intends for an impactful resurgence onto the exotic automotive scene. Spyker made this announcement alongside its B6 Venator concept (though the road-going car is likely to be nearly identical), a sultry new model that Spyker is aiming at the 911. We won’t be seeing the B6 Venator at Pebble Beach, but rather the B6 Venator Spyder, its convertible variant. A few more details suggest that the B6 Venator is powered by a V-6 engine that delivers a total of 375 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed automatic. Thoughts straight from Spyker have noted that “The response has been very positive and we are confident that we will be able to build a strong order book for the B6 Venator. We intend to launch the Spyder (open) version of the B6 Venator later this year.” Well, Spyker, Club Sportiva is ready and waiting to hop in for a drive!
