2015 Jaguar F-Type Coupe revealed ahead of LA debut
Well, well, well look what we have here, the 2015 Jaguar F-Type coupe. The sheer beauty of our stunning black on black convertible Jaguar F-Type rental has made us forget we’re even yearning for a coupe version of Jag’s growling sports car, but the car has officially leaked ahead of its L.A. debut this week and once again, we’re drooling. Based closely on the C-X16 concept that debuted at the 2011 Geneva show, the Jaguar F-Type coupe forms a beautiful swooping fastback that brings back the butterflies we got back when we had a classic 1960’s E-Type in the paddock. If anything, the wide, muscular rear of the car is even more accentuated in the coupe, which surely couples the auditory and experiential muscle of the car with aesthetic grunt. Additionally, a panoramic roof ups the exotic ante on the car and will be a dapper complement to any color the lucky owner shall choose. Underneath its skin we’re sure there will be the same powerful V6 & V8 mills found in the Jaguar F-Type convertible, but rumor has it that the coupe will also debut a turbocharged 4-cylinder option as well. Powertrain debuts will likely not be limited to efficiency, though, as R & RS variants are likely to make an appearance to be 100% sure the F-Type whipes the smirk on the Porsche 911’s face. There will be much more coverage of the F-Type coupe in the coming days after it debuts in L.A., and expect to see her on the road next Spring. Don’t you dare wait to experience this car, though, because there is black beauty packing 495 horsepower begging for you in the driver’s seat.
