Very rarely does a NASCAR race accident involve more than half of the cars participating, but this past Saturday at the 2015 Sprint Cup on the Daytona International Speedway 15 of 25 cars crashed on lap 46. As Greg Biffle was tailing Jamie McMurray, he tapped McMurray which caused him to spin out and create a domino effect which wiped out 15 cars in less than 20 seconds. Some of those included Paul Menard, Clint Bowyer, Kasey Kahne, Jamie McMurray, and Tony Stewart. The most entertaining part is watching Matt Kenseth (who was in 15th place) fly past multiple cars that are spinning out in front of him at 160 miles per hour. The cars ahead of him perfectly moved out of his way letting him get ahead which can be seen clearly at 1:54 in the video. Danica Patrick also made it past the wreck unscathed.
All in all 13 cars were damaged while 15 ended up off the track. Matt Kenseth come out with a 1st place victory after leading for 21 laps. Truex Jr. held the first position the longest with 28 of the 75 laps.
All in all through out the night 6 flags were pulled out, 4 yellow and two red. One for the accident on lap 46 and another on lap 67 when Tony Stewart and Kyle Busch hit the wall, then got clipped by Kurt Busch.
