5 Ferraris that Spit Fire

Posted March 10, 2016 By admin & filed under Autos

Recently, most new exotic aftermarket exhaust systems have been shooting flames. Here are the five hottest Ferrari rev videos we found on Youtube ranging from the 288 GTO to the 458 Speciale.

1) – 458 Speciale with FI Exhaust

This 458 Speciale from the Netherlands fitted with a Frequency Intelligent exhaust spits flames with every rev when the valves are open. You can see the remote control for the valves about 3 minutes into the video.  It probably doesn’t sound that much quieter when they’re closed.

The R8 and Aventador that followed the Speciale sounded pretty great as well.

2) – Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

The 360 Challenge sounds closest to an F1 car, and on this dyno it let out more than a few flames.  Just look at the white wall behind the car:

3) Ferrari F40 with Tubi Exhaust

This Tubi exhaust and Ferrari F40 combo could be the new promo car for Kellog’s Rice Krispies. All it does is snap, crackle and pop. Every downshift comes with a perfect side of flames.

4) Ferrari F12 with Armytrix exhaust

The F12 Berlinetta sounds like the more mature brother of the 458 Speciale. Its exhaust note is a much deeper grumble and the V12 intake noise can be heard coming into the cabin, especially during the high speed tunnel runs in this video.

5) Ferrari 288 GTO (that looks like it’s going to burst into flames)

TaxTheRich is well known for their Ferrari Enzo Rally Car Video and Rolls Royce drifting clip but before all that they published this video of a Ferrari 288 that surprisingly didn’t catch on fire. The flames seem to stay lit for an eternity, you could easily light a cigar with this $400,000+ lighter.
