Study shows Tesla Roadster batteries are better than advertised
Oh yes, Club Sportiva has fond memories of its Tesla Roadsters of late, and many of our renters and members do too. The Tesla Roadster was a striking distinction among our fleet of rare, gas-powered exotics in that it offered g-force-packed performance that rivaled or bested its oil-burning counterparts. You can tell that we couldn’t get enough so in the Roadster’s absence we attained a Tesla Model S Performance that is wowing our drivers every day. The latest news is showing us that our Tesla fetish is made even sweeter. Why? Well, these electric supercars are proving to not only be efficient, but also to last. ‘Plug in America’ has shown that the Tesla Roadster’s battery longevity maintains around 85% of its life after 5 years and 50,000 miles, which is a sizable positive difference over Tesla’s stated 70%. This is yet another accolade for Elon Musk and Tesla, who have experienced some great wins in 2013 with new improvements and technological advances related to the efficiency and usability of Tesla cars. In addition, Tesla Model S owners are driving around 16,000 miles per year, which is a legitimate increase over the national average of 13,500. We’re hoping for more wins from Tesla, we know we’d always like to have one in our fleet!
