Club Sportiva considers itself purveyors of the Exotic Car Lifestyle, so the story to follow is one we’re excited about, and we’re sure you will be too.  The idea of an automotive elevator for in-home garaging, though rare and exclusive, is not a new idea.  In fact, international luxury destinations like Singapore already offer luxury condos with this exotic feature, but none to the extent of the upcoming tower in Miami envisioned by Porsche Design.  The ‘Porsche Design Tower’ has 57 stories and an enormous robot-operated glass elevator that would literally take you to your apartment while still seated in the car.  Think cylindrical building with a hollow cylinder that houses the lift and deposits cars in the surrounding rings of apartments.  One of the most amazing features is that all 132 apartments will have access to their in-home garage, with the big boys having space for up to 4 cars; wow.  Builder Gil Dezer and Porsche Design will make sure this building is a global one-of-a-kind, unless they choose to design more.  Expect the building to be finished in mid-2016.  Oh, and in case you just feel like taking the human elevator home, just hand the keys to the valet and they’ll ride it up for you.
