Cars revealed at Pebble Beach (8/15/13) – Porsche 918 Spyder, Aston Martin Vanquish Volante
The weekend festivities have yet to begin at the Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance, but some of our favorite automakers just can’t wait to debut some of their exciting new offerings. First up is the production 918 Spyder. It seems as though we’ve had a clear idea of the 918’s looks for some time now, and in ways we have, but it is nice to see the supercar completely unwrapped in one, solid color. Oh but wait, the official debut will be in Geneva. Either way, take a look at the beauty below. Porsche will also be showcasing the 991 GT3, 50th Anniversary 911, and some other vintage rarities like one of the first 911’s sold in the U.S.
Next up is the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, the convertible version of the exotic Vanquish range-topper. The Volante keeps all of the stunning cues from its hardtop variant, but replaces the roof with a retractable soft-top for open air motoring. Alongside the Vanquish are the V12 Vantage S and the acclaimed CC100 speedster.
More Pebble Beach Concours updates to come!
