You didn’t have to tell us twice that hybrids are on the rise from economy cars to hypercars, but Ferrari reminds us just how much they’re embracing the technology in their future near future offerings.  Let’s remember that with the LaFerrari, Ferrari has achieved the most horsepower of any car that it has ever produced, but with only 40% of the fuel consumption.  You don’t have to be a green, recycling billionaire to appreciate that.  Ferrari Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo said to Bloomberg, “I want to have different Ferraris for different Ferraristi…We have a lot of parallel activities that can increase revenues without being obliged to produce more cars.”  On the other hand, while Ferrari is happy to embrace a mix of gas and electricity, it sure isn’t dropping gas anytime soon.  Montezemolo also noted, “I don’t believe in the electric cars, but I strongly believe in hybrids.”
