We’ve been holding our breath for years now for the Galibier super-performance luxury sedan from Bugatti, but it’s looking like this just won’t happen. This sedan, which would have arguably outclassed even the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Bentley Mulsanne, was to be a quite the party crasher in the ultra-lux and exotic auto scene so its silence and slow pace to make developments was pretty indicative of its non-priority for Bugatti. When it comes down to it, though, Bugatti has gone through 3 CEO’s since the time the Galibier sedan was proposed, so the concept was prevente by uncertainty and unfamiliarity as well. Bugatti’s current CEO, Wolfgang Schreiber, said in an interview with Motor Trend thatt he doesn’t believe there is enough room in the Bugatti portfolio for a super sports car and a super sedan. But, as the creator of the Veyron we’re sure Schreiber has a second-gen Veyron somewhere in his heart.
