Bugatti Teases a New Model for the Frankfurt Motor Show; Maybe the Veyron Successor?
Well we just got done reporting on the Veyron Galibier sedan (or lack thereof), but Bugatti is still hot in the news. What now? The question is, what will Bugatti bring to the show in Frankfurt?! It has been established that what they will show off will be completely new, and in their words, the “next Bugatti legend.” Coming from who it is, we’re pretty darn excited to see what is to come. So, let’s try to deduce what it could possibly be. As we noted, the Galibier sedan is out of the works so a Bugatti sedan variant is very unlikely. In addition, the 1,600 horsepower ‘SuperVeyron’ variant has also reportedly gotten the axe, so that is very unlikely. What is most likely, though, is a successor to the Veyron. Will it carry the ‘Veyron’ nameplate? Will it be a completely new model? Neither is truly known, and based on the teaser image (see below) recently put out on Facebook, it’s pretty much up in the air. What is likely is that this reveal will be purely of a concept since a successor isn’t expected for at least a few more years. More to come!
