We’ve been talking about Hennessey Performance a bit lately. A few weeks ago they announced that they’re in the process of creating a kit for the SRT Hellcat that will get power up to 850 horse at the crank and now to set a benchmark they’ve put their stock Hellcat up against the HPE750 Mustang. A 2015 Mustang GT with 774 horsepower. That Mustang is equipped with a 2.9 liter supercharger, upgraded fuel systems and a custom ECU tune. For reference, the stock Hellcat makes 707 horsepower at the crank from it’s 6.2 liter supercharged V8 and 650 foot-pounds of torque.
The video includes a race that takes place at Ellington Airport in Houston, Texas from 30 to 165 miles per hour. Checkout how slow the Hellcat looks compared to this evil Mustang.
